Sabria Randonnees. Organizing tailor made tours in the Tunisian desert.

In order to share our love of the desert and of Sabria, little village in the dunes, situated 40 kms west of Douze (2 hours by car from Tozeur Airport), we have created an association : Sabria Randonnées.
We work with a Tunisian travel agent, which is well known for being serious, reliable and for respecting its clients as well as local partners.

"   The style Sabria Randonnées We organise and accompany your trek and your stay in the desert. You can choose your own dates, the number of participants and the kind of trek or stay that you desire. For example you could opt for a stay in a permanent camp site or for a trek on foot accompanied by camels. The latter could be organised for groups of between 2 and 15 participants and even for 1 person only. You could join an already constituted group or organise your own private one. You could think of organising such a holiday to celebrate an occasion with family or friends : for example the beginning of your retirement or of a new way of life or Christmas and the New Year etc.

Thus we can organise a tailor-made holiday for you : respecting all your desires, as well as your physical and financial possibilities, outside the beaten tracks and in complete contrast to standard holiday fare…

We offer you an authentic discovery of the desert and its inhabitants going on foot or camel-back from tribe to tribe and sharing the simple life-style of the shepherds, eating hot bread cooked in the sand, joining in eastern style dancing…

Lodging

We will have the pleasure of welcoming you in our house in Sabria for the first and /or last night of your stay, or for longer should you wish to have more contact with the daily life of such a village.
During the trek, you spend nights under nomads tents or under stars. We can eventually book for you an hotel for other nights.
